UW police activity, Feb. 4–11, 2018

This past week, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to several reported incidents around campus. The following information is taken from the daily activity reports posted on the UW Police Department’s website.

On Sunday, Feb. 4, officers arrived at the Spanish Walk Apartment Complex in response to a call regarding suspicious behavior; the case is currently under investigation.

On Tuesday, Feb. 6,a call about a hit and run to a vehicle that occurred in the East Willett Parking Lot; there are no suspects at this time.

A call came in reporting handbills that were found in the Anthropology Building.

A student reported a suspicious individual in the South Express Lot; officers were unable to locate the individual.

On Wednesday, Feb. 7, a student was arrested on a municipal warrant in the Business Building.

On Friday, Feb. 9, a student reported being harassed on the eighth floor of Orr Hall; the investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Feb. 10, on the 800 block of Clark, one person was arrested for one county and one municipal warrant. They were also cited for interference and having an open container.

A report of harassment at McIntyre Hall came in; it appeared to be nothing criminal.
