UW Police activity Feb. 12 – 18, 2018

From Feb. 12 to Feb. 18, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to several reported incidents around campus. The following information is taken from the daily activity reports posted on the UW Police Department’s website.

On Monday, Feb. 12, a theft was reported at White Hall; the incident is under investigation.

On Tuesday, Feb. 13, a broken water pipe was reported at the 1500 block of Willett; the area was blocked off.

On Wednesday, Feb. 14, a welfare check was conducted on a student in the campus area; this is still under investigation. Also this day, a student was reported making threats at Downey Hall; this incident is under investigation.

On Thursday, Feb. 15, officers responded to a call of threatening comments from a former employee at Ross Hall; this incident is under investigation.

On Friday, Feb.16, a report came in of suspicious social media posts by a student; this is under investigation.

On Saturday, Feb.17, a student was arrested for intimidating witnesses and a breach of peace at Wyoming Hall. Also, a non-student was arrested on Sublette County warrants at the White Hall parking lot.

On Sunday, Feb. 18, a student was cited for underage drinking at McIntyre Hall. Later that day, two more students were cited for underage drinking on the first floor of Downey Hall.
