Alexander Gunter and his running partner, Cody Maxon, have decided to drop out from contention for the office of ASUW president and vice president.
“Cody and I had a couple other opportunities come up for the summer,” Gunter said. “While we were really excited about the position, we didn’t truly feel like we would be able to dedicate the time necessary to the student body and to ASUW as much as the next person could. So, we just decided it would be better to gracefully bow out.”
Gunter said that he plans to endorse Jones and Mulhall for ASUW president and vice president. Previously, the Branding Iron had endorsed Gunter and Maxon and we have not yet decided to endorse another candidate.
