Cross-Platform Media Coordinator
The Cross-Platform Media Coordinator provides student leadership for Student Media’s integrated student media organizations by coordinating operations, encouraging collaboration among editorial teams, and supporting strategic initiatives that enhance student learning and audience engagement. The position facilitates cross-platform communication while maintaining editorial independence.
Media Assignment Coordinator
Support the day-to-day coordination of Student Media’s editorial operations by organizing assignments, monitoring production workflow, facilitating communication across media platforms, and helping ensure timely, high-quality content. This position also assists with mentoring student contributors and promoting collaboration among print, digital, broadcast, and multimedia teams.
Branding Iron Editor
Lead the overall editorial and production operations of the student newspaper by directing news coverage, managing publication workflow, and ensuring high standards of journalistic excellence. This position supervises editors and designers, oversees print production and visual presentation, fosters collaboration across Student Media platforms, and mentor’s student journalists while supporting audience engagement and the continued growth of the publication.
BI Digital Webmaster
Lead Student Media’s digital publishing operations by managing online platforms, social media channels, and multimedia content to maximize audience engagement and user experience. This position oversees digital content strategy, website management, analytics, and cross-platform publishing while collaborating with editorial and broadcast teams to ensure timely, engaging, and optimized delivery of student-produced content across all digital channels.
WyoWire Studio Producer/News Director
The WyoWire Studio Producer / News Editor leads the production and coordination of student broadcast, multimedia, and news operations by managing studio production, editorial workflows, and cross-platform collaboration. This position oversees the creation and distribution of high-quality audio, video, livestream, and digital news content while coordinating assignments, production schedules, and newsroom operations. The Studio Producer / News Editor mentors student staff, ensures adherence to journalistic, technical, and production standards, and supports an integrated student media environment.
Student Media Broadcast Studio Manager
To assist with managing the bookings for the studio and to oversee the use of the studio by clients.
Graphic Designer
Design or create graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as layouts, displays, or logos.
Sales Representative
To sell Student Media advertising and services
Delivery Driver and Office Aide
Distribute publications and provide general office support.
Branding Iron Staff Writer
Provide news, feature or sports stories to newspaper for publication in print and/or online editions.
Photographer
To provide reproducible photos for insertion in publications.
