UW Athletics Secures new Field Logo Partnership

University of Wyoming’s Jonah Field end zone inside War Memorial Stadium has premiered new sponsorship logos, courtesy of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA). This is the first endzone logo ever featured at the home of Cowboys football. The sponsorship marks a major achievement for the Wyoming Athletic Department as they continue to navigate through the waters of the NIL era of collegiate sports.

UW Club Sports Gear Up for Fall Competitions

Laramie, Wy –  The University of Wyoming is known for its athletic program but in addition to the main athletics the University of Wyoming also has club sports. Club sports began at the University of Wyoming in 1981 this club sports were originally formed by the associate students of the University of Wyoming. In 1999 the club sports moved over to the department of student affairs in anticipation of the renovated recreation and Wellness Center located in half acre.

Cowgirls Take on Idaho

The Cowgirls played Idaho State in the second game of the Idaho State tournament. The Cowgirls are coming off a 5-set win against Boise State. Wyoming came in tonight with the plan of winning and that they did as they swept the Tigers in 3: 25-19, 25-21, 25-22. The Cowgirls dominated the first set as they had multiple 4-point scoring run.

Jets Fly Over UW’s Win Against UNC

Fireworks explode in the air, as the crowd roars in celebration and cheers as jets fly through the air. 

On the September 12th game in celebration of Richard Peace, making it into the University of Wyoming Football Hall of Fame, Peace, a member of the United States Air Guard, had F-35 and F-16 fly over the Wyoming game against Colorado. Wyoming won 21 to 13 that game, making the celebration of Peace seem like a good omen.
