Coe library window sign

UW students should keep their eyes peeled in the upcoming weeks for a new digital sign in the primary east window of Coe Library.

At last night’s ASUW Senate meeting, the vote was unanimous to utilize this new form of media. The key objective of installing a digital sign is to utilize a central and visible location in order to promote campus-wide student information. These include, but are not limited to, advertising ASUW’s programs and funded events, implementing UW safety alert system and displaying UW’s Tzolk’in online calendar and the Transit and Parking bus schedule. Currently, signs similar to this one are located in the Wyoming Union, the College of Business atrium and the Classroom Building.

“College of Business Senator Nedved and I wanted to implement this bill before next semester because we knew we had the support from UW groups and facilities to make it a success,” said College of Agriculture Senator Claire Dinneen.
