UWPD update: Union vandalism, theft

Last week, Feb. 19 to Feb. 25, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to several reported incidents around campus. The following information is taken from the daily activity reports posted on the UW Police Department’s website.

Monday, Feb. 19, an officer responded to a call reporting vandalism in the union; this is still under investigation.

Tuesday, Feb. 20, a call came in reporting information on a possible theft in the union; this is still being investigated. Also on Tuesday, local law enforcement contacted and ejected four individuals during the UW versus New Mexico basketball game.

Friday, Feb. 23, there was a report of a student on drugs in White Hall; the student was transported to Ivinson Memorial Hospital. Also that day, staff at Downey Hall reported an impaired student; the student was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

Saturday, Feb. 24, a student was cited for underage consumption of alcohol on the seventh floor of Orr Hall.

Sunday, Feb. 25, suspicious flyers were found in the physical sciences building; this is still under investigation. Also that day, a student was cited for underage consumption of alcohol on Fraternity Row.
