UW Police Activity, March 26– April 1: Drug paraphernalia, money stolen

Last week, Monday, March 26 to Sunday, April 1, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to several reported incidents around campus. The following information is taken from the daily activity reports on the UW Police Department’s website.

On Monday, March 26, money was reported stolen from an individual’s backpack in the Buchanan Center; the case is currently under investigation.

On Tuesday, March 27, a student was cited for underage consumption of alcohol in Downey Hall. Also on Tuesday, the department received an anonymous report of a sexual assault; the case is currently under investigation.

On Wednesday, March 28, a UW vehicle backed into a personal vehicle south of the Animal Science Building; the damage was under $1,000. The same day, two calls were made by staff at Downey Hall for a marijuana odor; a student was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

On Thursday, March 29, a student reported harassment; this is currently under investigation.

On Friday, March 30, drug paraphernalia was found in a bathroom on the 5th floor of Downey hall; there are no suspects. The same day, drug paraphernalia was found in a trashcan on the 7th floor of Orr Hall; there are no suspects.

On Saturday, March 31, a student was arrested on 12th and Bradley Street for driving while under the influence.
