UW Police Activity April 23-29: Harassment reported, hit and run on Ivinson

Last week, Monday, April 23 to Sunday, April 29, the University of Wyoming Police Department responded to several reported incidents around campus. The following information is taken from the daily activity reports on the UW Police Department’s website.

On Monday, April 23, damage to a fence around the east side of the Hall Acre Gym parking lot was reported; there are no suspects.

On Tuesday, April 24, a student reported harassment on campus; the case is currently under investigation. Also on Tuesday, the staff at McIntyre Hall reported a marijuana odor; however, an officer was unable to locate where it originated from.

On Wednesday, April 25, a student was arrested on a municipal warrant while at the Half Acre Gym. Also on Wednesday, a student reported a marijuana odor in Ross Hall; there are no suspects.

On Thursday, April 26, staff at Downey Hall reported a marijuana odor; one student was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

On Friday, April 27, a student was arrested on the 1400 block of Bradley Street for a DUI. Also on Friday, a hit and run to a vehicle occurred on 13th and Ivinson; there are currently no suspects.

On Saturday, April 28, two students were cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Also on Saturday, a student was cited for possession of a controlled substance.

On Sunday, April 29, a student was cited for underage consumption of alcohol. Also on Sunday, a student at the Landmark Village apartments reported a marijuana odor; this turned out to be from a skunk.
