University Store changes for fall

The University Store will be open this coming fall while following CDC and University regulations.

“Our reopening plan has been executed in alignment with best practices for retail spaces and University reopening guidelines and directives,” said University Store Manager Misty Eaton.

Students will still be able to get their books. However, there will be a multitude of delivery options for students to choose from to make sure they are comfortable and safe.

“Students, regardless of location, will be able to order all books and materials on our website and will be able to choose pickup, residence hall delivery, shipping, and local delivery within Laramie” said Eaton.

Students can order books for the fall semester beginning next week.

The University Store will also offer national and international shipping of any materials students may need.

As for in store changes, Eaton said there will be steps taken to keep customers and staff safe such as frequent sanitation of high touch areas, plexiglass barriers for customer service areas, social distancing signage and floor stickers throughout the store, and personal protection equipment requirements for all store staff.

“The University Store is doing everything within our control to ensure that employees and customers are safe and healthy,” said Eaton. “Our expectation is that students, faculty, and staff will follow the University’s guidelines when entering the Store.”

Customers can follow the University Store social media for updates and new information about the University Store.
