Day 1: “Transformers”

I have embarked on a perilous journey to which I may not return. I have heard tales told about those who have ventured in the recesses of its clenches. Doing this will let the world know the truth…even though it may cost my life.

I have prepared food and drink enough to last me through the ordeal, a survival knife, duct tape, an extra jacket to keep warm, and, in case I encounter a scenario to which I cannot return, a gun with on bullet. I have sent letter to my family telling of my deepest gratitude—I may never see them again.

My travels begin.

My first thought is that for some reason I have been transported to an unknown planet since, after overhearing the narration by what sounds like a robot man, every actor involved is sweaty and attractive. There is a foolish chap on the screen who won’t stop yelling at things and fidgeting. He must have an iron deficiency.

I feel I have been affected sooner than I thought. I feel myself beginning to sweat as well. I take a large swig of my water. I have to move on.

The people of this world seem to not care about the world around them. Robots have crashed landed and no one seems to notice. A slight tingle starts to rattle my brain.

Now an attractive woman comes on-screen. Looking at her I feel as though she has been put here to distract from the faults around me. I care not of her personality, only of her body and attractiveness. I normally wouldn’t perceive a woman in such a way, but I feel this world has different rules I must follow to survive.

The robots have surfaced now and it appears they have learned to talk and communicate with us humans, for some reason, even though some have clearly focused on the stupider brand of human, as the more they talk the less grasp on my sanity I can maintain. The room is going dark… I can’t…see…

I have awoken on the floor after what appears to be an unreasonable amount of time and now there is nothing but screeching and explosions. I have awoken to a trap. I hold my ears for dear life to block out the sounds, but they come at such an incomprehensible onslaught I feel I may be done with this journey too soon. Why is this happening?!

But then it stops. I feel I have met my journey’s end, for now. The robots say they are to remain secret, but one is standing on the cliff in bright sunlight as the music of a seemingly overrated band plays in the background.

I feel a slight numbing of the brain…my fingers tingle as they never have before. There was nothing but a hot girl and explosions. As a result I feel lightheaded, as though through it all I have lost part of my being. Something is wrong…and I have much more left to come.
