Laramie BrewFest entertains attendees

Lemonade Beer, Peanut Butter Beer, Fruity Pebbles Beer, Salsa Beer and Chili Beer?

No, you’re not reading a page out of a Harry Potter Novel. This is what hundreds of BrewFester’s come back to experience at Laramie BrewFest year after year.

The 2012 Laramie BrewFest took place on Saturday, July 14th at Depot Park in downtown Laramie from 1-6 p.m.

Twenty- five craft beer vendors provided a variety of beers to the Laramie residents and others who came to BrewFest.

Those attending BrewFest had the chance to pay $30 at the gate to get a pass for unlimited beer samples from breweries from all around the country.

A few local breweries in attendance were Altitude Chophouse as well as the Library Bar and Grill.

And many out of state breweries attended including: New Belgium Brewery, Blue Moon, Samuel Adams, Shock Top and Sierra Nevada.

Festival attendees also enjoyed live entertainment from The Lonesome Hero’s and Patti Fiasco. Even afternoon rainstorms didn’t keep the Brew Fest crowd from enjoying festivities into the early evening.

“This is my third time attending BrewFest.” UW graduate Talia Sanders said. “My favorite part this year was running into old friend and drinking delicious beer.”

“Thwis was my first year at Brew Fest. My favorite part was having the opportunity to be with my friends and reconnect with the old ones,” said UW student Brooklyn Pratt.
