Trivia night returns to The Gardens

Lydia Mayer – Staff Writer

Free trivia for students kicks off 8 p.m. Sept. 18 in the lower level of the University of Wyoming Union.

It takes place in The Gardens and is hosted by 7220 Entertainment. The Gardens serves drinks, but Trivia Night does not provide free refreshments for students. Students can bring their own food and drinks.

The trivia takes questions from a host of different topics, challenging students to “prove your wit.” Participants can make teams of up to four people, with the top teams winning prizes. Prizes have included “gift cards, fun theme packs, and a variety of other prizes,” said Hannah Ellis, Marketing Assistant for Center for Student Involvement and Leadership.

The past few Trivia Nights have been considered successes, with The Gardens typically full. Around 75-100 people attend, taking on the task that 7220 gives students to “challenge your friends.”
